Happy Father's Day to all the dads out there! I'll be heading to Terminator:Salvation with my dad soon--he's been wanting to go for a while now. I've been hoping to get some work done on my novel before then, but the internet keeps distracting me. >_<

At Anime Central this year my friend Stephanie pointed out to me a lot of cosplayers from the webcomic Hetalia: Axis Powers, so the other day I joined the wonderful hetalia group here and added a new obsession to my ever-growing list. The funny thing is that for all the crack craziness, I'm actually learning stuff. Brings me back to my old senior year AP Euro days. Plus its really interesting to see the world from a Japanese point of view, even if a lot of it is purposely based on stereotypes. Sometimes they're scarily accurate. O_O

I think my favorite is America (I never though of myself as being particularly patriotic, but maybe I am? =P). I especially like American and England together; they're cute and funny, but they're got a pretty complex relationship, too.

I also have a thing for Japan (but what else is new?).

How many times do you have to see something before it stops making you want to pee your pants?

I'm posting! I decided to take advantage of this place to babble about stuff that RL people don't want to listen to me babble about (which means it will be mostly anime =P). Plus way back when I told Amy I'd start posting. It feels kind of strange though since I have no friends right now (except Amy, who counts for like 9000 friends, but still). So any random people who happen to be reading this, please friend me cause I'm a poor friendless loser! ='(

So I watched the new FMA Brotherhood, episode 11, today, and it was a really impressive consolidation of three chapters' worth of manga into one episode. Sometimes I feel like this series rushes things a little too much, but this episode was great. Especially this right here:

If you haven't noticed already, there's not very much on this page. ^_^ I'm joining livejournal to post in other communities, not to make my own journal all fancy. So yeah...there's not too much of a point to coming here at the moment. :D Maybe that will change later. Guess we'll just have to see...
